The Guild has identified ten key charities that we will work closely with to ensure quality volunteering projects are offered to our students. You can click on the charity logos to find out more about the organisations and the volunteering opportunities they have on offer. If you would like to fundraise or volunteer for any of these charities, you can either contact them directly or email rturner@liv.ac.uk.

Asylum Link Asylum Link is an organisation dedicated to assisting Asylum Seekers and Refugees and to raising public awareness around Refugee issues. Asylum Link is a drop-in centre for all asylum seekers and refugees.

British Trust for Conservation Volunteering (BTCV) BTCV is an environmental conservation volunteering throughout the UK and around the world. Their vision is to contribute towards a better environment where people are valued, included and involved and they aim to create a more sustainable future by inspiring people and improving places. |

Daisy UK Daisy UK’s objective is to break down the barriers of all disability discrimination through awareness in sport and other leisure activities. Daisy UK strives to create pathways for sport integration and acceptability through education and adaptation. Daisy will confront health and fitness issues concerning all young people by making them aware of their fitness levels and the growing problem of obesity, which is particularly relevant to children with a disability. |

K.I.N.D. K.I.N.D work with thousands of children, young people and their families across Liverpool and greater Merseyside, pioneering new and imaginative ways to help them cope with many forms of disadvantage. |

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Merseyside Fire and Rescue aim to make Merseyside a safer, stronger and healthier community. They work in partnership to provide an excellent, affordable service to all the diverse communities of Merseyside that will reduce risk throughout the community by protective community safety services. |

NACRO NACRO is a crime reduction charity which makes society safer by finding practical solutions to reducing crime. Since 1966 NACRO have worked to give ex-offenders, disadvantaged people and deprived communities the help them cope with many forms of disadvantage. |

The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation The Roy Castle Foundation aims to raise awareness of the problem of lung cancer, promote an intensive research programme into the causes, prevention and management of the disease, provide support for patients and their families during the course of their illness and help people not to smoke, especially children. |

Sahir House Sahir House is a multicultural support and information centre offering a wide range of services to individuals and families living with or affected by HIV in Merseyside. |
