LUST are putting on "Grease" this semester and we are looking for new and exciting people to join our already fun and vibrant society. What better show to be a part of than this fantastically popular 50's rock and roll musical?
Auditions are on:
27/01/10, 1800-2100: Dale Reading Rooms, Carnatic Halls of Residence
29/01/10, 1800 -2100: Large Music Room, Music Department, Bedford Street
30/01/10, 1100-1300: Large Music Room, Music Department, Bedford Street
Callbacks will be on the 30th from 1400-1800
Songs:
Boys - "Alone and the Drive-in" or "Those magic changes"
Girls - "Sandra Dee reprise" or "There are worst things I could do"
Callback songs:
Danny - "Alone at A Drive In Movie"
Kenickie - "Greased Lightning"
Sandy - "Summer Nights"
Rizzo - "Sandra Dee"
Marty - "Freddy My Love"
Roger - "Mooning"
Doody and Roger - "Rock n Roll Party Queen"
Johnny Casino - "Born to Hand Jive"
Teen Angel - "Beauty School drop out"
For some characters the callbacks will involve doing a small dance routine.
Don't worry about auditioning - everyone on the panek has been through it at LEAST once themselves so they completely understand and the whole thing is very casual.
