HSC Information Booklet

An HSC Information Booklet containing everything that you need to know as an HSC member can be found here.

If you have any further questions, please use the enquiry form below to contact Ruth Dalton.

Finances

HSCs are allocated funding by the University to run their activities throughout the year.

This money is automatically deposited into a grant account, held by LGoS.

Each Hall has its own unique account code, beginning with 2212 and followed by...

557 - Dale Hall

558 - Morton House

559 - Salisbury Hall

560 - McNair Hall

561 - Rankin Hall

562 - Lady Mountford Hall

563 - Roscoe and Gladstone

564 - Derby and Rathbone

Account statments which show how much money each Hall has and shows all transactions are available at any time from LGoS Reception.

Payment Vouchers

If you are claiming back money that you have spent on your HSC items, trips or events, you will need to complete a Payment Voucher.

An annotated PV with details of how one should be completed can be found here.

PVs can be found and can be returned to LGoS Reception.

If you have any questions regarding your finances or PVs, please contact Ruth Dalton or LGoS Reception.

Ticket Order Form

LGoS can print tickets for any of your events or trips which can contain any logos or information that you wish.

They can print these at a cost of 5p per ticket, cheaper than using an external company. LGoS Reception can also sell these tickets on your behalf as well as recording information about those students buying tickets, such as which Halls they are in or what they wish to eat at an event.

If you would like LGoS to print your tickets, please find a Ticket Order Form here. This should be completed and returned to Elaine Ansell from LGoS Reception.

Monthly Newsletter

Once a month, a newsletter will be written and sent to all Halls' students so that everyone knows what the other HSCs are up to. If you want your event or trip to be included and advertised in the newsletter, please email Ruth Dalton by the 1st of every month.

MiniSite

All HSCs are automatically given a section of the LGoS website called a 'MiniSite.' HSC members can use this to advertise their HSC and its members, to publish photos or to publicise their latest event. You can also use this site to sell tickets to your events.

MiniSite training will be held for all HSC members on 2nd November 2011 at 2pm in LGoS. This session will help you to learn more about the MiniSite and how to get the most from it.

An illustrated MiniSite Guide can also be found here.
