Apply for funding

Before you apply for funding, you will need to decide whether you need to bid for your Individual HSC Grant or for the Halls' Activity Fund.

Below are some guidelines to help you decide.

HSC Individual Grant Account
- To be used for the majority of your spending
- To be used for spending on any event/item where only your Hall/Committee is involved

Halls' Activity Fund

- Open to residents from all University Halls to bid for funds for activities/items for their Hall
- Can also be used by HSCs to fund cross site events where a number of HSCs are working together
- Will be used to fund events organised by the Carnatic Social Committee and Greenbank Social Committee, such as the Christmas and Summer Balls
- Individual HSCs can also make bids for funding assistance (e.g. for large projects).

To apply for funding for an item, please fill in a Funding Request Form.

For more information about which forms to complete and where to send them, please follow these flow charts.
