Purpose
Principles
The Guild is a student-led, student-focussed and not-for-profit organisation with the principles of representation, democracy and informed campaigning at its heart. Every student at The University of Liverpool is a member of The Guild. We actively listen to our members and their contribution guides and shapes our policies. We will continue to develop a culture where members can comment on what is good and what is not and influence how we can progress.
Partnership Driven
The Guild works closely with the University to fulfil the needs of our students by providing numerous opportunities for personal development and participation. We will strengthen and develop key collaborative partnerships that will enhance the ability of LGoS to fulfil our mission and offer greater value to our members.
Innovative
The Guild uses information and data from its members to lead its decision making and development whilst benchmarking appropriately to ensure that the organisation remains fit for purpose.
Inclusive
We strive to provide a wide range of services, opportunities and products that meet the needs of our diverse membership and pro-actively encourage participation.

The Guild acts as an agent of change to ensure services in the University are relevant and appropriate to students through representation.
