► Vice President (Ruth Brewer)

My name is Ruth and I am one of the Vice Presidents at Liverpool Guild of Students. I graduated this year with a degree in English and Philosophy, and I enjoyed my time here so much that I wanted to stay on, working with the Guild, working for students. This year I will be working closely with our societies, international students, student parents, mature and post-graduate students, as well as with our liberation groups. I will be spending a lot of my time speaking to you to make sure that the Guild is delivering on the issues where you want to see change happen. I will be part of the team helping your time at Liverpool the best it possibly can be, so please contact us if you want to find out what we are up to and how you can get involved. Beyond the Guild, I am an avid Liverpool supporter and Justin Bieber enthusiast.

As a University of Liverpool student, you are automatically one of over 17000 members of the Guild. We are run by 4 elected students, who are supported by staff and volunteers.

The Guild aims to make students lives better, through campaigning with you to make positive change and providing you with a huge range of opportunities to meet other people, gain new skills and have fun.
