LGoS provides a range of services for students and staff to add to your time at the University and to make some things a little easier!

Where we can we sell fair trade produce, so it's a better deal for everyone. We're also supplied by the Cooperative and try to recycle or reuse pretty much everything - that's how we received a Silver Award in the Sound Impact Awards 2009, becuase we trade ethically and environmentally.

We use the money we make from these services to support all of our membership activities - so the sandwich you buy in the shop helps a student seeking academic advice; the pint you buy at the Saro Wiwa Bar will help our societies do what they do best.

Ultimately what makes us different from the high street is that when you spend £1 in the Guild, you are investing in the student experience, your own experience.

The Guild

Hello and welcome to Liverpool Guild of Students!

As a University of Liverpool student, you are automatically one of over 17000 members of the Guild. We are run by 4 elected students, who are supported by staff and volunteers.

The Guild aims to make students lives better, through campaigning with you to make positive change and providing you with a huge range of opportunities to meet other people, gain new skills and have fun.
