Discussion and true argument of ideas
We want to set up a popular society where people have the chance to meet regularly and learn more about horseracing, have a chance to hear from some of the sports biggest names and get discounted entry to races. We will also look to set up regular ‘Race Nights’ where leading trainers, jockeys, vets etc will come and give talks to help increase people’s knowledge about horseracing
To promote and encourage entrepreneurial spirit within the student body.

To provide a networking opportunity for students and to allow them to share ideas with one another.
Provide First Aid training and awareness at various levels, promote team building, help St John Ambulance provide first aid cover at public duties, make friends and have fun!
To show weekly screenings of anime and to spread the joy of Japanese culture
To educate and enthuse fellow students on the practice of medicine outside the normal clinical setting
To provide opportunities to experience and receive training on the practice of wilderness medicine
To foster a love and respect for the great outdoors

The club aims to allow potholing enthusiasts to explore caves and to introduce the sport to others
The Purposes and Aims of the Society are to promote research into and the study of and public interest in the history of the Great Britain and its constituent countries by the following means:-
a. Involvement in performance of public re-enactments of Battles, Sieges and other events of the period with a view to educating the public and encouraging an interest in our heritage.
b. Involvement and attendance to discussions or lectures, the publishing of books and the making of documentaries of the period.
c. Involvement in the erection of memorials of Battles
To introduce students to Liverpool and the North West’s diverse rock and metal music scene, as well as to provide an opportunity for people with similar music tastes to get to know each other, appreciate different genres of music, discuss their tastes in a friendly atmosphere and have fun
To have fun, promote co-operation between society members and between the wider RPG community, support and promote Role Play Gaming, Live Action Role Playing, tabletop Collectable Card Gaming, Wargaming and Board Gaming in a safe and friendly environment, and facilitate enjoyment of life
The aim is to run educational outreach projects to create better economic opportunities for our communities on a local and international scale. The aim is also to train our members to become leaders and engage with the community and make a real difference in the lives of others. Students also get the chance to represent the university and compete at national competitions coupled with networking events with leading companies in the world today. This SIFE Programme gives students the opportunity to use what they learn in the classroom and apply them to real world challenges.

Surgical Scousers
Promote surgical knowledge, experience and understanding To supplement student learning in the surgical specialities.
To create a stage to put on Taiji shows
To provide professional Taiji classes
To spread the culture of Taiji and the way of healthcare.
To inform students about the British education system and support them in gaining the necessary work experience to obtain a place on a PGCE course or other teaching training path
We aim to offer an introduction to mediation, and some basic yoga exercises. We also plan to discuss the concepts and philosophy behind yoga.
