The key aims are to provide social and educational events and trips and to encourage social cohesion of the students studying biomedical sciences. We would aim to provide a group which offers the chance to become involved and regularly meet people who have similar interests. A further aim would be to offer an opportunity for students to become involved with their peers and gain a sense of belonging outside their academic studies.

The aim of the Communication and Media society is to create a sense of belonging within the department of Communications and provide opportunities for socialising and meeting other students with similar interests. We will also provide academic support for those who are in need of help and guidance in their studies.

We are the society for the department of archaeology, classics and Egyptology. We aim to unite everyone who is within the department along with anyone who just has a general interest in Archaeology, Classics or Egyptology
Our current Sociology Department is without a Student Society, although one has been set up before, it was not successful. In the forthcoming year we hope to set up the society once and for all to give all current and perspective students a group to be a part of, a way of meeting new people on the same course and in the department and a place to have fun
Liverpool University Veterinary (LUVS)
To provide an all round social experience, and give as chances to relax from the academic requests the various Veterinary courses demand. The Membership is for life and helps organise reunion events that the Veterinary Alumni Association and Liverpool Alumni association organise.
To provide a key network for members, that include social levels, personal problems, assisting in academic problems and queries
To provide an official organisation representing its members who were studying in Xi’an Jiao-tong Liverpool University (XJTLU). And to assist the International Supporting Team to deal with the difficulty arisen from the XJTLU students.
Act as the main channel of communication between the XJTLU and the University of Liverpool (UoL);
To improve XJTLU students conditions of life in UK by enabling or assisting them to participate in the intellectual, social, and other activities of, or connected with UoL. Hence, to enhance the experience of XJTLU students life at Liverpool.
To liaise and co-operate with the student representative bodies of the University, and of other higher educational and further education organisations.
To allow people from degrees zoology, ecology and marine biology to meet other students of similar interests, gain information in volunteering and conservation work in the Merseyside area and to join in on trips and socials.
